So. My kids are 11 and 15. I am no longer a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) momma. I loved those days so much I decided to come back as a Mentor Mom a few years back. In fact, I even had a piece published in the book created especially for MOPS Mentor Moms, Fierce Wisdom: Mentoring so Others May Flourish.
Yeah. I’m just a little bit proud of the fact that I had a few of my words published mere pages away from Kristen Welch of the blog We Are That Family. Y’all. I. Can’t. Even.
I’m sorrynotsorry. I just really needed to namedrop and get that out of my system. Also, this year is about learning to celebrate small things. So let’s just celebrate that for a moment, shall we?
Something you may not know about me is that I really love MOPS. Once upon a time I co-coordinated and then coordinated a group. And then I loved that so much I became a Council Coordinator, working with not only my own MOPS group, but helping other local MOPS groups as well. I’m showing my age with that statement though. Those wonderful ladies are now called Ministry Coaches and they use the internet to do the majority of their job. Facebook is their friend. See?? Social Media can be such an amazing tool! But I was out making phone calls (**cringe**) and hoofing it because when I did that job, Facebook wasn’t even really a thing. We thought it was really high tech when we got to participate in a simulcast. We’ve come a long way, baby.
To help my MOPS group out, and also because I love making graphics, I put together some graphics that will be framed and used throughout the room on tables and walls. Many of them use MOPS issued graphic elements so I can’t sell them. Also, because I’m paranoid about copyright infringement you won’t see them all in this post, but they are linked and available to MOPS leaders on the ministry’s site. The ones shown here were made to coordinate with the MOPS Fierce Flourishing graphics.
Since the work was already done, it seemed like I might as well make them available for public use for any groups that would like to use them, or all you free printable hoarders on Pinterest. (Ummm…yeah. That would be me.) Our group has 8 tables denoted by color, so you’ll notice 8 different colors…well 7, because one of the colors is white. It’s a little bit like adding Pinterest inspirational quotes to your group’s decorations. And it only costs to print them. So how awesome is that?
Simply click the pic, right click and download to save and use as you please. Resolutions are good for printing up to 11×14.
Mops provided graphics for use in promotional materials, so the other graphics can be found on the MOPS Leaders Website Here, Here, Here, Here, & Here if you’re a MOPS Leader. And if you’re not, here’s a bonus:
I hope you enjoy these (whether you’re a MOPS momma or not!) and use them to brighten a space in your meeting place or your home. Because we all could use a reminder to rest, to notice goodness and to celebrate on a regular basis. Be sure to help your MOPS sisters out and tweet or pin these, or if you’re a leader you can also find them on the idea board of the MOPS Int’l website.
