When a girl’s birthday rolls around boxes start arriving. Or sometimes they just come for no reason, like these did. I’ll take it either way! I love me some happy mail!
Box #1: Loved+Blessed
Box number one came last week, all bright pink and happy to my mailbox, with a special thanks from Flyby Promotions for arranging that. It was filled with all kinds of sweet encouragements for a girl like me.
The theme for this month’s box (because y’all, you can get these sent to yourself-or a friend-every month if you want!) was brokenness. There was a note of encouragement inside the lid to the box explaining the theme and how it relates to our lives. Then it was filled with all kinds of goodies that went along with that theme: a mini poster (for my happy wall in my office area!), a reminder to encourage others, a sticker to place somewhere to remind you, a loved+blessed emergency sewing kit, tiny bag for keeping odds and ends contained in your purse, a pen and more. If you’re looking for a way to encourage a special friend or something different to send as a Mother’s Day gift, this is such a creative, thoughtful way to bless a special lady in your life and super affordable. While the goodies were fun, I loved that the primary purpose of this box is encouragement!
Even better, they’re offering a 12 Month Giveaway! Just click here to find out more about it:

Box #2: Illustrated Faith
I’m so excited about this box. I bought the new devotional kit the day it was released by Illustrated Faith and Dayspring and finally had some time to dig into it earlier this week. I am in love and the likelihood that I’ll purchase another one is high. It came filled with all kinds of goodies: a set of stamps, inkpad, washi tape, sticker, decorated paper clip and a set of page flags, cut outs and other bits to add to my journaling Bible, plus a great devotional guide following their theme for the month. This month’s is all about our identity and beauty in Christ.
Let me just say, I’m not an artist, although I love designing on my computer. Somehow my clumsy fingers just don’t really like to make “real” art. So I mostly just letter and take notes with the occasional embellishment in my Bible. I’ve kept it simple when it comes to my journaling Bible. Having the stamps and other supplies to add to what I was doing was a great way to get my creative juices flowing. I love the process of reflecting on a passage of scripture and pulling out what it means to me in the margins of my Bible.
I know there are many who paint, draw and do so much more in the Bibles as a part of their worship experience. I think that’s awesome. But this is one place I’ve found that simplicity works best for me. Plus I hate cleaning so I don’t want tons of supplies to have to keep up with.
I’m so happy that there’s been a movement to incorporate creativity with studying the Bible. And I’m super excited the Illustrated Faith teamed up with one of my favorite affiliates-Dayspring-to make their products more accessible. Also, Dayspring has great sales!
Box #3: Amazon
Y’all, I had a little “Treat yo’self!” moment a couple of days ago. It involved another book, but I’ll save that for another day because I haven’t had time to crack it open yet. I never want to make people read a bunch of junk so I don’t recommend until I’ve read it myself. But the other thing? Yes! Hallelujah! I could faintly hear the angels singing as I did the 30-second setup. It was this…
It’s been well established that I love a good internet service that makes my life easier because I’m one busy momma. And I’m forgetful. Especially when it comes to toilet paper and air filters. And nobody has time for that. In related news, I’ve *never* made my husband run to Wal-mart at 10:30 pm for toilet paper. *Ever*
This little button will automatically order more. The only trick will be to remember to mash it when the supply starts to get low. But I think I can handle that one! So fun, right?! And there are absolutely oodles of them to choose from. Whether it’s Mac ‘n Cheese or Larabars or Mrs. Meyers, there’s a button for that!
